Megan Boyle

Art Therapist &

Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate

Megan’s approach to Art Therapy is person-centered, and strengths-based. She works to empower each client to recognize, activate, and build on their tools for achieving and maintaining mental and emotional well-being. Megan is informed by modern attachment theory, and believes that important relational change and healing may occur through the client-therapist relationship. Additionally, her experience with yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based stress reduction has contributed to the integration of mindfulness-based art therapy as a tool for emotion regulation.

Megan has experience working with individuals living with mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder,

trauma, and attachment difficulties. She has provided support for individuals navigating difficult transitional periods, grieving a loss, or seeking personal development. Megan also has experience working with individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and providing support for their families and caregivers.
